McMaster University’s Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Radiation Sciences and Health and Radiation Physics (RadGrad for short) offers graduate programs in Radiation Sciences-Medical Physics, Radiation Sciences-Radiation Biology and Health & Radiation Physics.
Our faculty members are known for their work in elemental analysis, development of biomedical devices, the effects of low doses of radiation on people and the environment, radiation protection, biophotonics, medical imaging and radiation therapy. McMaster is home to facilities, unique nationally and internationally, that advance research in these critical fields, including the McMaster nuclear reactor, and the McMaster Accelerator Laboratory.
